Dear Friends,
It is with great excitement that we announce our new schedule of " MASTER SCULPTING WORKSHOPS" for 2009.
Some of you may have remarked upon the format change for our classes this past year. We now only accept 4 to 6 persons per class.
We have also taken the financial constraints of the current world into consideration, and have lowered our prices to what we believe to be workable for our students.
We have found the format of fewer students per workshop allows us to give a very personal approach to each individual student and observe their needs in a way that the larger student format made impossible.
Students are able to move into absolute certainty, with an approach to sculpting, in a very short span of time.
I believe that I was almost as amazed this past year by the students' learning ability, as the students were.
Most students returned to their homes with not only the knowledge of their ability, but with one or two sculptures per week.
It is for this reason and with great pleasure, we now call these classes "Intensive Master Sculpture workshops" and are issuing certificates of completion at the end of each course.
We will happily be adding testimonials from 2008 to the website in the near future.
We hope, if you find yourself resonating to our approach, we have the pleasure of experiencing the excitement of our "Master Sculpting Workshops" with you in the near future.

We are fortunate to have secured a most idyllic location for these workshops.
The famous Glen Muse in OJAI, California has graciously given us permission to use the estate.
As well as using a sculpting studio on the grounds, we have been granted very reasonable rates for students to live in its lavish California splendor, utilizing the recreational facilities, and participating in its’ meditative community.
Hotels within walking distance can also be utilized for accommodations.

FRANCE Workshops are held in the Maine and Loire province of France. We work in a large studio with skylights, which sits in the middle of an ancient village of about 100 inhabitants. Les Cerqueux Sous Passavant dates back to the 9th century, located among lush, rolling hills of sunflowers and wheat, dotted by chateaux and small farms,
We have a small house in the country for 2 people, with two bedrooms, beautiful gardens and a small pond, as well as a 2 bedroom apartment in our house. Our apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, so should be considered by more active persons, who like a bit of exercise. All have extra beds and rooms for visitors at no extra charge. We also have several small countryside houses or apartments available for couples wanting not to share a living space with other students. All are clean, modern and full of charm.

Please download and fill out the registration form. Then mail it to the appropriate address listed below, along with a $300. (USA workshop) or 300e (Portugal or France workshop) non- refundable deposit, for each workshop you wish to attend.

Please note: Both France and Portugal workshops are payable in euros, but it may be easier for you to write dollar checks for deposit, rather than get bank euro checks in America.
May we suggest the following:
Mail a dollar check to our address in the USA. For the equivalent of 300e
The dollar deposited in the USA, will be translated into euros as of the date it is received, credited at the value of the euro equivalent as of that date, and then deducted from the total payment for the workshops.
We can also offer you a direct wire transfer option.
For USA workshops: Please mail dollar checks to the USA address above.
Payments for all workshops: to be paid in full - 2 months before the start of the workshops.
Refunds: of the tuition for all but the non - refundable deposit, will be made up to 1 month prior to the start of the workshops.
No refunds: after the cut-off date of 1 month prior to the workshops.
No substitutions of workshops or substitute student participation: unless the workshop is cancelled for any reason by The Vaugel Sculpture Studio, at which time refunds, or substitute workshops will be made available.
